Diploma in Logistic and Supply Chain Management

Course Description

This programme is designed for students who aspire to excel in the dynamic world of logistics by learning essential logistic and supply chain management skills. The broad range of modules designed to provide students a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills required to perform as a professional personnel in logistics and supply chain management.

Entry Requirements

AGE:

Minimum 17 years old at course commencement.

ACADEMIC:
  • Passed 10 Years of General Education or GCE 'N' Level Examination; or
  • Completed at least 10 years of formal education or the equivalent from a recognized school; or
  • Minimum 21 years of age and 2 years of working experience in a related field (as determined by EGA)
ENGLISH LANGUAGE:

Pass EGA's Literacy Test / Achieve IELTS 5.0 / Equivalent

Mode of Delivery

Full-Time and Part-Time - Classroom teaching and may include guest speakers.

Graduation Requirements

Students are required to successfully complete all modules and pass final assessments.

Course 2

Diploma in Culinary Arts and Pastry Management

Course Description

This programme is designed for students who aspire to excel in the dynamic world of culinary arts by pursuing a culinary degree. Students will be exposed to a wide range of learning opportunities which provide both in-depth knowledge of the hospitality sector, and the practical culinary and pastry skills students need to develop a successful career in the vibrant world of culinary arts, food and beverage industry, working with sophisticated kitchen equipment, learning about the latest culinary trends and acquiring the practical proficiency needed.

Entry Requirements

AGE:

Minimum 17 years old at course commencement.

ACADEMIC:
  • Passed 10 Years of General Education or GCE 'N' Level Examination; or
  • Completion of at least 10 years of formal education, or equivalent, from an established school in Singapore; Chinese Main Course, International Baccalaureate (IB), GCE 'O' Level or an GCE 'A' Level or an equivalent; or
  • At least 21 years old and have work experience of 2 years in a related area; or
  • Student must successfully complete internal English Proficiency Test or pass a minimum IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
ENGLISH LANGUAGE:

Pass EGA's Literacy Test / Achieve IELTS 5.0 / Equivalent

Mode of Delivery

Classroom teaching, which may incorporate after 3 months of lessons and an re-submitting an assignment upon failure. Students who fail this module will be given one more attempt.

Students are required to successfully complete all modules and pass final assessments.

Course 3

Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management

Course Description

This programme is designed for students who aspire to excel in the dynamic world of hospitality by pursuing a hotel and tourism degree. The broad range of modules designed to provide students a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the knowledge required to as a professional personnel in the hospitality industry. Students will be exposed to real-life work situations through the Industrial Attachment.

Classroom teaching, involving interactive discussion, case studies and may include guest speakers and industrial site visits.

Graduation Requirements

Students are required to successfully complete all modules and examinations plus the 6 months Industrial Attachment and the Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management will be awarded.
