With the rise of e-commerce, there will be a greater demand for workers with the knowledge and skill in logistics and supply chain management. This course equips students with sound knowledge and industry practices of supply chain, inventory, logistics and supply chain management at an introductory level in an organisation. With the knowledge from this course, students will be able to aim for a career in logistics and supply chain management.

The aim of this unit is to enable learners to understand and discuss issues pertaining to quality standards, service and performance management. Learners will gain an insight into Quality Management concepts such as Total Quality Management and Six Sigma Management, as well as Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9000 and Quality Marks. Learners will also be introduced to the concept of workplace safety and health.
The aim of this unit is to allow learners to learn about the best practices in the warehouse operations in the basic functional areas receiving, storage, pick and pack and distribution. In addition, learners will be able to learn about the different types of equipment typically found in a warehouse. Finally, learners can also conduct an operation planning in costing and customer service in warehouse operation to achieve peak effectiveness.

The aim of this unit is to provide students with a broad, strategic view of Specialised Warehouse & Logistics Management. Upon completion of all academic modules, students are required to undertake an industrial attachment of up to 6 months with an organization of their choice. The industrial attachment gives students first-hand practical experience and the chance to see what a variety of different jobs are really like, including some the student may not have considered. Students will learn more about the expectations of different roles and develop key competencies needed for employment. Students will be required to submit reports and evaluations during the attachment.

The Diploma in Sport Science and Coaching is designed to provide well-rounded knowledge and skills in the area of Sports Science and Coaching. At the end of the course, students will demonstrate both practical and theoretical understanding of various topics in these fields. This will prepare them to take on different roles in the sports and coaching industry. This program prepares students who want to develop their knowledge in such skills. Sports science topics such as understanding client needs, sports psychology and nutrition contribute students with sound theoretical exercise participation and sport performance. The unit also covers the fundamentals of fencing and fencing coaching. The combination of theories and practical of sports science and coaching is designed to develop graduates with versatile skill under the coaching career.

This module studies the structure and function of several systems of the human body. Anatomy and physiology understanding forms the fundamentals of various other topics related to sport and exercise fitness. Students will be exposed to metabolic processes, many body systems, homeostatic control mechanisms and adaptations during exercise.
Sport performance depends on several sport science disciplines. Sport psychology is one that focuses on the experiences, motivation, adherence and mental skills related to sport and exercise. This module aims to provide understanding on psychological concepts and factors that would influence exercise participation and sport performance. Special appreciation will be made to the different topics that motivate students to pursue and progress design for Special populations.
Muscular strength is important for activities of daily long, bone health and better metabolism when exercising. Strength training is a bread and butter in athletic development, but it should be done with specific plan and purpose. This module aims to provide learners with practice-based understanding of muscular fitness and conditioning, use of periodization and development for different sport and exercise participants.
Sport biomechanics is a study of mechanical laws related to the movement or structure of the human body in sporting context. This topic allows us to gain understanding of athlete events through measurements and analysis. This module provide learners the basic mechanical concepts, laboratory equipment and software to study human movements.
Organisations are constantly in demand for information and expertise to help make big decisions. Learners will be taught the recognized duties of management positions, from an overview of basic supervision skills to focuses on contemporary issues. This module prepares the prospective sport administrator a comprehensive and contemporary introduction to administration, organization, and management principles and their applications in the broad sports settings.
This unit provides the basic elements of the safe and importance of fundamental movement skills in sports. It aims to address the skills into categories framework and assess the ability to organise and differentiate the fundamental movement skills. This knowledge will be used to develop fundamental movement skills programmes in a community level.
Sports Marketing focuses on promotion of sports events, team, products and services through sporting events and teams. Today, it even ventures out of sporting events into the corporate world. This module provide learners with knowledge of topics include advertising, promotions, public relations, location, pricing, sponsorships, licensing, market segmentation, and the role of research.
Skill acquisition looks at how we attain and work objectives of individual sports performance. Learning that there are stages in learning, learners will be able to understand a range of learning theories and current trends in motor control. This focus of this module will enable learners to gain knowledge and skills relating to cognitive, motor skill learning and development under specialised pedagogies and approaches.
This unit equips students with interpersonal skills that will enable them to effectively discuss and advise clients on health-related issues. Promoting activity and health habits is often a challenge. Counselling methods will be introduced to learners to identify client needs, and engage in appropriate problem-solving and decision-making as well as effective implementation and evaluation for the purpose of helping individuals and counselling individual/group to achieve goals.
This unit prepares students various core elements that focus on kicking, punching, and defending against attacks. Beyond sport and self-protection, students will be exposed to the movement training techniques with specific plan and purpose of kickboxing. Finally, this module will allow students to gain knowledge of teaching and conducting kickboxing classes/sessions for various group of future fitness industry clients.
This unit covers the fundamental principles of swimming and water coaching. This module will enable students to become competent in various swimming strokes and learn a variety of teaching and coaching techniques and exercises to facilitate acquisition of swimming skills. The component of teaching & coaching in the field will contribute towards the student's competency by focusing on planning, programme development for community level.
This unit covers the fundamental principles of fencing and fencing coaching. This module will enable students to become competent in various swimming strokes and learn a variety of teaching and coaching techniques and exercises to facilitate acquisition of fencing skills. The component of teaching & coaching in the field will contribute towards the student's competency by focusing on planning, programme development for community level.
Upon completion of all 8 modules, students are required to undertake up to 6 months of an industrial attachment with an organization of their choice. Students will be required to submit reports and evaluations during the attachment.
Students who are unable to secure an Industrial Attachment can opt for the Final Project as a replacement. Students will be required to complete a research paper and do a presentation on a topic of their choice under the guidance of a lecturer.

The aim of this module is to enable learners to critically evaluate the impact of technology and the internet and hospitality industry, including how evaluation of emerging trends and innovation can be used to develop and market new online strategies. It will also investigate and appraise contemporary issues and trends in electronic tourism and hospitality products and how to apply online strategies in diverse situations.
The aim of the module is to provide learners with an understanding of the accounting and financial management concepts and tools used in the management of hospitality businesses including hotels and food service enterprises in complex situations.
